With more than 10 years of experience in graphic design, advertising and a successful freelance business, I was on the search to start something new and exciting. After designing everything from wedding invitations to birth announcements and holiday cards for family and friends, I decided that stationery would be my perfect niche.
I am a stay-at-home/work-from-home mother of two with a great love of paper and stationery. In the Summer of 2006 while talking with my husband about this new idea, we decided that we would set out to create a business.
Couture Invito was born!
The name: "Couture" with the thought of quality designs, timeless sentiment and endless possibilities. With the love of all things Italian (food, wine, style, family) we choose the Italian word for invitations, "Invito."
To my surprise we officially opened for business in less than 3 months and started being featured in several online magazines and blogs. With the support of my husband, family and friends I have created a wonderful business that continues to expand and grow with more options and more creativity every day.
